Combining the real with the digital world: How IoT and AI are reshaping Urban Infrastructure:

IoT and AI are changing the everyday experience of living in urban environments – making infrastructure more efficient, sustainable, reliable, and responsive to people’s needs. This presentation explores how the convergence of the physical and digital worlds through IoT and AI is transforming urban infrastructure into systems that are smarter, more sustainable, and resilient. It examines IoT and AI-powered buildings that optimize energy, comfort, operations, and sustainability; intelligent water management, where AI enables leakage detection, predictive maintenance, and more efficient wastewater treatment; and smart energy management, spanning smart electrical products, intelligent substations, and adaptive smart grids. Together, these technologies are creating a connected urban ecosystem where data, intelligence, and physical infrastructure work together for the benefit of everyone.
